Wooh! Black Friday. There’s nothing like it. Even with the advent of Cyber Monday, Orange Wednesday (lol), Thanksgiving Evening, whatever they call it, Black Friday is still king! I was out last night (Thanksgiving) and don’t get me wrong, it was packed out there. You could feel the buzz, everywhere you went. However I say there’s nothing like mother fucking Black Friday, because you have the total package. People are out at before the sun is up. Lined up out the doors as if it’s the Great Depression and we’re starving for bread! As soon as the bell rings and the doors open, it’s mayhem, it’s Mother Fucking Black Friday!
Black Friday Is America
Again, it’s fucking mayhem, it’s mother fucking Black Friday, but we wouldn’t want it any other way. I’ve been saying I’m trying to focus on the positives. So let’s ignore (for this post anyways) the negative symbol of capitalism, greed and excess that Black Friday can present at times. Let’s focus on the excitement and energy it brings about. It also promotes business, and for hustlers like you and I, it promotes opportunity. Check out my post The Ebay Hustle and you can see what opportunities I’m referring to. For now though let’s let this post just be about Black Friday, and all it’s glory.

Black Friday In The Suburbs North Of Dallas
So if you don’t already know I live in the ‘burbs north of Dallas. The DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth Area) is literally hundreds of suburbs clumped into one metroplex. Some even argue it’s taken away from the city itself, but that’s another story for another time. So I can only speak about this area and what Black Friday was like here. The places I hit up this Black Friday were full of excitement, people running around, some agitation here and there (to be expected), but overall a lot fun being had. There was nothing crazy, nothing like you see on YouTube and Facebook, or in the News(lol). You know, the fights, the stampeding, the shit that almost makes going out on that day not worth it. It was civilized, no real incidents, but a very energetic and exhilarating day.

So You Probably Want To Know What I Scored This Black Friday
Technically I started shopping on what some call “Orange Wednesday” (I’ve seen it called Black Wednesday as well). I also engaged in after Thanksgiving Thursday shopping, but let’s stick to Black Friday. On this day I rushed in and ran just like everyone else, more like jogged, and went straight to the cameras. I got my daughter’s Christmas gift first, which was a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Camera. I was in the back of the line before the doors opened (even though I was there at 5:45 am), but I was still able to get a camera before they sold out. I went on to get an Xbox bundle, a Go Pro camera, a Canon Wireless all in one printer, binoculars, Philipps 4k Blue Ray DVD player, Samsung Tablet, a Dirt Devil Vacuum, Vivo Fit Fitness Band, and a couple other things I know I’m forgetting.

In the end Mother Fucking Black Friday did not disappoint. The atmosphere was electric, the moment was exciting, and some deals were better than others, but who can put a price on experience? It is after all the Black Friday EXPERIENCE that really gets us out there. For me anyways. Well, that and to make a little money while I’m out there. Again, check out my post The Ebay Hustle to see how you can do the same. If you had a memorable Black Friday let me know in the comments below. Was it pleasure, business or both? What strategies did you use? What did you go for first, and what did you have to give up because of it (lol). Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving as well, those who celebrate that, and again the hustle never ends for me, I hope it’s the same for you. Until next time, deuces!
